The Department of Geology and Soil Science provides teaching in the compulsory and optional subjects listed below, which are linked to the fields of MENDELU - forestry, landscaping, arboriculture, garden and landscape architecture, agroecology and land management. For teaching purposes, the department makes use of its own specialised classroom and teaching laboratory for geological subjects. For its scientific and research work, the department has four other specialised laboratories.
